I love how cabs have some of the most *famously* awful customer service in the world, but now that uber & lyft have proven than literally anyone with a license and a GPS can do the same job just as well (if not better) all of a sudden they have to pretend like they give a shit.

Man, they suck in Canada too. I was stuck somewhere pre-Uber for an hour and when I called the dispatch, was told he’d already picked up his fare and left. I said “...well obviously he didn’t, because I’m still here.” And dispatch said “I’m not going to argue with you, ma’am” and hung up on me.
