Yet another reason for me not to go Uber. That blind take off method could end up with a person's finger smashed or make the person fall from the loss of balance, and just a good thing Burnie hadn't been half in the vehicle when the guy took off, best case would been thrown into the car in an awkward position, worst case he would have been thrown out of the vehicle and would have been run over by the rear tire, most likely the leg that wasn't in the car. Sorry, but if I am paying for a service I do expect a minimum level of effort (No extras like water or gum, just basic care for the safety of the passenger)
