@JohnMichael03 I gotta agree with you. If you know theres a room full of tangled wires, broken glass, and mold, maybe don't rent some animals to hang out in that room. I mean, they had that bouncy castle (I think? Its been a long time) outside, so why not set up some fencing out there?

@JohnMichael03 To be fair, they very likely didn't think the handler would just leave it there with people who have NO IDEA what to do with a Kangaroo. That IS pretty irresponsible of him. He had no idea if they knew how to take care of a joey, or that nothing would go wrong. He also saw the place he was putting it down and was well-able to deem whether it was or wasn't a safe environment to just dump a BABY kangaroo. You don't just throw a puppy in a room and say "have at" with people you don't know when you're the one in charge of it, especially if you know it's going to get into shit because it's a puppy and can see that there are dangers around for it to get in to. You'd amp up that caution a hell of a lot more with a baby kangaroo because I can assure you they cost more than a puppy to replace (in worst-case scenario) or take to the vet. Jesus, that man was irresponsible af.

@silversatyrus He was gone for ten minutes, which probably means he had to get the other animals, or get the corral since they didn’t have one. Most animals rentals have their own corrals, but they prefer that the renters have one of their own so stuff like this doesn’t happen.

@JohnMichael03 So he should have put the corral down first, then the baby animal. Leave the baby in the Nice Safe Carriage in which it was brought, put down the Nice Safe Corral and then put the baby in that. You don't just get a baby from its car seat, put it on the floor in some randos house, then get the playpen.
