As someone who has lived in an exclusively Xbox-only household for their entire life, I *will not hesitate* to purchase a PS5 if Microsoft implements AI-for-creativity.
If you tell me you're using AI to improve upon the realism of NPC interactions with the player then I'm all in. But AI generated story writing? NO. I don't want to consume the intellectual equivalent of McDonalds. I want to feel genuine feelings and experience genuine stories.
I think AI can be used as a tool and be incredibly beneficial to everyone... this is not "de way".
"AI" is generative from a trained model, constrained by both what it is exposed to and the bias it is directed to. It does not understand what it is doing. It generates the most average-as-weighted response to the prompt it is given.
