Truly, a person who is bored with Starfield, that is their opinion, cause it is great fun. Love the storyline. The main story is so deep and fun to play. Empty planets still has resources. Just fun! Personally, I think they responded great. My opinion.
@VigilantEyes I like the game too but it's hard to deny most of the game is just empty. Would've much preferred only a few systems with each planet being detailed instead of the same empty planet over and over. And the response "The astronauts on the moon weren't bored." is a great response? It's so sad and desperate they might as well just shut up.
And this is coming from someone who spent over 90 hours on the game, I loved the pirate, ranger, corpo and major stories I stumbled across but the main story is meh aside from the last few.
@VigilantEyes there are parts of the game that I love. That's the problem. I WANT to love it. But the things I *don't* love are too big to ignore.
Namely my load times on Xbox Series S were 60 seconds or more (and as we all know, there are times where you have to go through THREE loading screens to do one action) and the empty planets with copy pasted spacer dens were gilded turds, mostly just because the loot is kinda bunk compared to the named items like the Crimson Fleet guns.
@FranthePerson I can see your point, but in the same way, that is what exploration is, right, looking at a whole lot of nothing to discover that one something... but thos will only appeal to some. I mean not everybody wants to be an Archaelogists... not everybody gathered every resource on every planet in Mass Effect either... I did, but not everybody does.
I completely understand people's frustrations and I played it, quit because of one bug, picked it back up again, put it down...its a game to me but to give the negative reviews a response from the company, just seems out of touch
first auto-generated response:
"yeah, we know the planets are empty, they're supposed to be"
second auto-generated response:
"if you're looking for things to do, you can explore the planets"

There is a LOT of good content in Starfield, there really is. I'm not kidding.
BUT, its all crusted over by the lack of QoL/comfortability of control/no control over HDR so everything is constantly blown out.
@CarlWeezer567 I played it about 1 years ago after initial launch. Finishing new PC build this week, and trying to decide if Cyberpunk has been changed enough for another play through, or if I should just finally jump into Starfield
