@JohnMichael03 I feel like it's a more complicated matter for littering. Like if you just leave piles of "garbage" in your own yard and it isn't loose (be able to move by wind or gravity) then it's your crap. If you are burning stuff then you could get in trouble but what prevents me from hoarding junk in my backyard it's not really littering. Also if you just throw a bunch of loose trash in a spcific area you could just argue it's a compost. Also there are people that own land and raise animals just to kill them for their fur or other products (most common I can think of is rabbits). I feel like it would be fine to raise animals on your own property and hunt/kill them for products as long as the animal is legally owned, not endangered and the process you do it with doesn't endanger your neighbors. But as always US laws can be brutally bullshit.
