This is me. I go to the same coffee shop every day when I'm home, and they know exactly what I want and (before COVID-19) the second I walk in, they start making my usual 🤣 Only issue I've had is the rare occasion they mess up my usual, but I don't complain because I work out of state on a weekly schedule, so they're champions for remembering my usual as often as they do.

really?.....just fucking tell them to make something different...if you want something different that day. there loss if they pre-make something a customer does not want or ordered, and have to trash it. its a place of business, your the customer, tell them what u want. or if it bugs you so much, tell them to not make u something until u order it. only one at fault here is you Gus. i can only wish i could have had your experience on my lunch breaks every day to the same Subway 3 days a week, but nope always had to explain to the clerks there what a "Subway Melt" was and how to make it....dumbass kids that work at those places these days just dont care anyways. at least you found a place that has regular workers that remember repeat customers...I am sure they would be happy to oblige you if u just told them.

lol Gus, it's okay to ask for something different and not accept the drink they made. It's just espresso and water, they'll chuck it down the drain and start fresh. Been a barista before, it's okay, they won't hate you I promise. xD Although you might yave to deal with them making conversation about how you're ordering something different, and I don't know how you feel about that, haha.

It would be funny if the people always premade his order because they were fans and they saw this

when I worked at a coffee shop the ones I chose to make ahead of time were the ones I liked, or the biggest pains. that order is not a pain. I can tell you about pains. An Americano with extra water, that's nothing. I guess if you're at a place that doesn't use instant espresso crystals it might be more work, but their profit margin is huge. Don't worry about it.

It's kinda like how I am with my favorite Pizza place, I've ordered from them so many times that they know who I am before I order anything lol.

I've had this same experience at multiple food and drink outlets (Pita Pit, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, etc). It's quite the surprise the first time it happens, you walk in and when you get to the counter your food &/or drink is ready before you even ordered it. If you get the same thing every time then it's cool and saves time but if you want to change it up once in a while it can be a little annoying and you might feel bad because the staff needs to throw the order away and make a new order (some places are chill and might let you or an employee have it instead of trashing it).

I had this same thing in HS with the Subway nearby, sometimes I want a veggie sub please! Totally a first world problem
