As a 2019 Full Sail graduate, it’s a rip off. The school is managed poorly, I had to sit home for a month due to them placing me in the wrong class and when I immediate brought it up to my Academic Advisor he told me I had to talk to the teacher, I did that and the teacher told me I had to deal with the Academic Advisor (who took 2 days to respond) the advisor eventually came around to he told me it’s too late for him to do anything. And remember you are paying for housing yourself so every extra month is another at least 1000 out your pocket

Plus the teachers don’t teach they give you tutorials to do and they are just there to oversee stuff. As a Game Design student we literally just did the Unity and Unreal YouTube Tutorials. I got HORROR stories one of our teachers would come in smelling of alcohol and barely teach. I had a teacher give the class an hour+ long lecture on The Beatles, while mind you this is GAME DESIGN. The same teacher got mad at my class for not doing extra nonexistent work because we finished our first week assignment 2 days ahead of time. Game Design grads know the exact fedora wearing teacher I’m taking about, he’s notorious for being difficult..

I guess that´s what happens when an enormous corporation buys your company. You have to adapt to purely profit-driven Big Business practices and get forced into shitty deals. Either RT lost all their say in these things or they just accepted it.
