Oh good, my brain needs a break from Mario Party
Can we get the art department their own show?
I would watch the hell out of a Lets Build type show with the Art Department
@killerrin Let's (Actually) Build (In Real Life)
Plus, it can act as a form of minor security for the company! Just having a cop car sitting outside the office every single day. If you want to really compound on that, have the car parked in a slightly different spot every day. ;D
Don't they already have a guarded gate with security badges and everything?
Yeah, they do, but that's not as fun. They also have security guards patrol the building after hours. Miles mentioned one passed by in Backwardz Compatible. But all of that is far too logical. That's why you gotta do the convoluted idea I proposed. More psychological to would-be robbers.
Didn't they have a cop car before? They've used one in shorts before, what happened to the last one?
I think he implied they were rentals.
Those were rentals. It says so in the description. They decided that since they use them so much that they should buy one so they save money.
They rented them. They literally said that in the video...
They just figured it would be cheaper to buy one than to rent one every time.
Has Aaron's car just been sitting there broken down since that one RT Life?
Is that a Fifth Element tattoo I see at the end there? I thought Geoff was taking sabbatical leave
He said he would be in and out I thought, like he was taking a few weeks off but would come in to shoot once or twice every few weeks?
@RavenSugara From what he's said on Off Topic and in various videos; he's coming back in to film H&H and Relationship Goals, but I believe that's where his work responsibilities end
This was probably filmed quite a while ago
Ok, legit question here... How do you make a completed cop car legal to own? Wouldn't the lights and decals disqualify it for personal use?
It's just not street legal. It's fine as long as its on private property.
Its likely only registered to drive on private property. Its like if you were to buy a yellow school bus for whatever reason, you could only get it insured if you paint it something other than yellow.
I imagine you can use models the cops aren't using anymore, too.
They're not using it for personal use. They're using it in film production.
Serious question though...who's not saving their RTX lanyards - collect that shit!
judging by how many there are im guessing these didnt come from one person, ore likely left overs
I wonder what kind of licenses and permits are required to modify a car to look like a cop car.
Some day I want someone to walk up to Marcus and say "We need a fully mobile, operational tank that flies and also looks like a parade float shaped like a squirrel, that plays Darude Sandstorm and launches wasps out of the cannon with the sound of an airhorn" and see if he's up for it.
"Does it actually have to fly, or just appear to fly? Because one is cheaper but the otehr is cooler"
So that's how the prop department has everything...
