holy moley
Holy crap I now wonder if this stuff is somehow related to Professor Oobleck and how he got his name.
Bartholomew and the Oobleck
Both have their name from this story.
Why not use a funnel?
It looks like there's a funnel in the sink, so it probably didn't work.
The balloon probably didn't stretch without any pressure, the problem is as soon as it was under pressure to stretch the balloon it went solid
That's Dr. Oobleck to you.
Now I really wanna see that slo-mo video. I NEED IT.
I was told to NEVER EVER put it down the sink because it will clog up the pipes. Whoops!
If you run the tap while you do it, its fine, cause i dilutes it enough for it to become an actual liquid rather that Non-Newtonian
Had to do this in school once, the way I found worked the best was to fill a bottle (like they did) but then have a balloon filled with air on the other side and then just let it flow down. Worked best with Gatorade cause they had a bigger opening and if you kept the bottle at a 45-60 degree angle. You can also mix it within the balloon but that's a bit tricky too
Ziplocks work but because they have no pressure so they don't look quite as cool in slow-mo IMO
Mythbusters level of substance there guys. Now we just need the Slow Mo Guys to get this episode off the ground.
Be interesting to the the Slow Mo Guy's take on shooting that stuff in slow motion.
Why didn't they just put the corn starch in firt and then fill with water?
