Looks like it has the gore and R rating this time, but with the cast of characters and apparent story, I don't have that good of a feeling for this. I am cautiously curious but not excited. It seems like an r rated version of the first Mortal Kombat movie but that will only make it slightly better. Not impressed.😒

As long as it doesn’t tuen out to be a military movie like Monster Hunter then it should be pretty entertaining video game movie.

As someone on the sidelines of the MK fandom (I like the story but didn’t grow up able to play any of the games) this looks good! The history of video game movies is notorious, and the recent MonHun reveal of being a terrible Military Isekai crushing my hopes, this is carefully bringing them back up! I hope it finds that balance of cheese with the lines and characters, and the famous gore. All in all looks good and I want to see it!!

@nikonope Yeah, give me a good popcorn action movie. it doesn't need super deep lore and 20min of exposition to explain it all. This is the First movie. Be patient, help this movie succeed and then we can get into deep lore and story lines in later movies. This movie really just has to establish the world. For those people complaining that X character is a good guy and Y character is a bad guy. Marvel swaps people quite a bit and it still works in those movies. Maybe there is a character arc being set up for a later movie?
