Welcome to the trailer that lauched RWBY. Here we see Ruby Rose with a Cross for her emblem and Grimm without the white face masks. Ruby is noticed to have a more mature almost over-confident attitude to how she is in RWBY. The lyrics are about Team RWBY, describing each of them in the order they appear in the end title cards. This series of trailers are belived to be a prequel to the events that happen in Volume 1, Episode 1 of RWBY; Howevwer, with no voice actress Ruby Rose is forced to silently visit her Mother's Burial Monument (no confirmation there is actually a body burried here). Mother is Summer Rose and the words "Thus Kindly I scatter." are written on the marker. What is impressive is that Monty Oum, with such a simplistic color scheme and haunting score, caused the world to collectivly "lose its shit" in anticipation for this series. This and the trailers that follow are to this day one of the most effective marketing campaigns I have ever witnessed. Monty Oum is credited with doing all the animation in this trailer. He has passsed away, but left us this little gem for wich myself and several others will forever be thankful. For he dared to dream what a 15 year old goth girl in a little red riding hood (with a Sniper-Scythe known as Cresent Rose) would do to an army of big bad beowolves.
