I think people are extra stressed out and anxious and it is translating into their driving. I used to have to drive pretty far a few years ago to get to work and especially around the holidays it was extra bad. The place I lived in was already a terrible place to drive in. Every day I lived there I saw a car accident on the side of the road. But this year is just one long, extended, extra stressful year. I imagine anyone who has to drive right now is on edge.
