I'm glad me and Panton are on the same page as to level our Characters. Here's hoping it works cuz I really want to hit 40 in 2 mins of launch.

When they were talking about Meg and her collection of boxes falling out the closet I kept thinking of the Simpsons episode where Principle Skinner gets trapped under the pile of newspapers.

The new Exotic retrieval thing in Destiny lets you purchase a new one version of anything you've already found but without any xp on it so you'll still have to level it however they have moved the Exotic perk to be at the start of the skill tree so it'll do its thing much sooner. Shaders, emblems etc. can still be in your inventory (so you can equip them) but you will be able to delete and then retrieve them from your 'collection' (I believe for a small glimmer fee).

An Exotics main perk is now intrinsic so it does it's thing as soon as you pick it up, no levelling required to get it, which is cool and probably the way it should've been from the beginning.

Costs Glimmer and an Exotic Shard to get new copies back, also if there is a Year 2 version of an Exotic you have, the blueprint is unlocked for you straight away, so you don't have to go out and find the new version of it, you can just purchase a new one.

There's also been chatter that they'll be bringing the rest forward over time. There's Podcast up over at Game Informer where they sorta talk about it, and the reasoning behind why only certain Exotics are coming forward at the moment, and it seemed to be due to balance more than anything. Luke Smith said there was about 3 new Exotic scout rifles in TTK and only one pulse rifle, which is why Bad Juju and Red Death were moved up, also the PS4 Exotics were moved up so Xbox players could use them, so I think we'll see the rest come in over time and be brought forward, but its good that the new stuff will get a chance to shine rather than people just clinging to the old stuff and not giving the new stuff a chance.

I like one-off patch podcasts. they dont feel the need to talk about games only. freedom is lovely :P

I finally got the Black Ops 3 Beta to work...played a couple of matches. It seems like they pulled mechanics from other games, like wall running (like Titanfall) and waiting for your "specialist" weapon (kinda like supers in Destiny)...but it does make it more fun; it also still feels like CoD.

Too bad they are taking the XP buff away from Nightfall and Public Event packages are only worth 2500xp

Also, you can't do the Nightfall until Level 40 anyway once TTK drops.

It'll be back once the rework it, but it takes the pressure off doing it now, which I love, because I always feel it has to be the first thing I do after reset so I get the buff...but now that doesnt matter so I can just do whatever, whenever.

Im so hyped for TTK, its changing so much and just making the game so much better

I keep the box for about 2 or 3 weeks before I realise I never threw it away yet, then throw it away finally a few weeks later
