Mario 3D All-Stars should have been so much more

Welcome back to Insight Gaming, where we take a moment to really think about video games. It’s nice. Stay awhile. When Super Mario 3D All-Stars was announced there was great rejoicing and celebration. Some of the most beloved and beloved 3D Mario games were finally coming to the Nintendo Switch. Mario 64 is a classic. Super Mario Sunshine, on the other hand, has probably started a war somewhere and of course, Super Mario Galaxy brought peace once again to the land. That’s the legacy of the original 3D Mario games at least but as far the legacy of the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection goes… we have some goombas to squash.
