Its kinda sad the bad reception on youtube this video is getting. The wider community from RT really needs to weed out some toxic audience from its core.

I love this video, and it's such a shame that the comments had to be turned off on YT. Massive kudos to Stephanie and Zombae for their speaking up for the Black gaming community, and other marginalized groups who game.

omfg thats not how our system works.. Id love a free console too but you have to pull in more buys than the amount of money they spend on you and many of the people I have seen whine for the last 4 generations don't do that.. Yeah it sucks its a popularity contest but welcome to capitalism.. Im sure some companies would love to have equal footing against Google or even RT, you guys have a 15 year head start, did you not earn that start? Should RT give EVERYTHING away to meet the same level as anyone in this video? Thats why you're an employee.. If EVERYONE was a business owner, there'd be no employees. Earn your keep. I saw plenty of POC get a console.. but you don;t watch or acknowledge them because theyre "toxic" and "self-hating".. I mean almost all these companies have a huge presence in every country on the planet where electronics are normal.. They even have to meet the demands of said country? Maybe move to russia? You get nearly everything 80% because of their economy versus ours. Its ALL accounted for. I feel like these conversations keep happening and lead to nowhere because when MOST people see the amount of effort IT COULD take, they bail. What you're arguing for doesn't even equate to equality in the white race. If Because of all this woke nonsense you get deemed "toxic" and "hateful" they black list you anyway, but I bet many here advocate and like that.. Theres your issue and hypocrisy right there.. Im all for everyone being on the same page within a small margin BUT THAT MEANS EVERYONE..Not people you dont like, think are nazis or anything else.. ALL OR NOTHING.

Christ, not everything is about race...

I think the most important thing to take from this, is not necessarily the NUMBER of people of color, LGBTQ+ people, and women getting a fair, proportionate opportunity to review games and consoles, but the fact they FEEL like they are pretty much completely ignored. And that is a painful reality. We all need to do our part, however small, to fix this. It also shows a glimmer of hope with some changes that are slowly improving this situation. We would all love for these problems to be solved overnight, but we should take every little victory we can get and continue fighting for what we know is right. ♥ Please, keep these discussions coming. Don't be dissuaded by the angry mob of racists out there. They want you to remain silent. They want the status quo to be "maintained", regardless of what they actually claim. They feel threatened, as if they will lose their privilege and rights, which is just plain not true; the whole point of this is to ensure equality, equity, and fair representation, not take away the rights of white, straight, cisgender men. You'll still get your review consoles, you big self-entitled babies. To the lovely awesome ladies in this video: Keep at it, keep fighting, and I will happily stand by your side!
