@FortisDraco you can also just put two miners facing each other on coal and they'll fuel themselves until their inventories are full. 50 each. useful for while running around getting setup.

@kdavis63 I usually make a belt going one over and down from the miner, using a burner inserter to load its own coal into its self. then the extra goes in a chest, you can even line them up so there can be as many as you want in a line, a set it and forget it until you get electric miners
