@nickpeacock incidentally, I also looked away when chris did and had to rewind like 20 seconds to figure out what they did wrong. If Gus learns anything from this it'll be to actually /read/ before dismissing prompts. There was a giant sign that said, "Do you seriously want to fuck yourself?" and he clicked, "YES!" Then there was a sign that read, "Wow, did you ever just fuck yourself," and he ignored the /shit/ out of it. XD
you requested flights before negotiating the contract (which dont have to do) and then immediately cancelled one of them, which is a breach of contract^^
i picked up the game because of your first stream, after a few hours i realized i had done everything wrong and started from scratch.
you can adjust your terminal fees so you get way more money per passenger, then, once you have a large gate, you can have way more passengers per flight (or at least pick larger planes with the small gates), further multiplying your imcome.
regarding the mall: you can assign (in the scheduling screen) up to 3 employees per bar or kitchen and 2 per cash register. also: build more ATMs (literal money making machines) and yank up their prices, same for the arcades. lastly: build advertising displays in crowded areas, more free income.
rehire the CFO, hes great for negotiations. with negotiation you can yank the runway and terminal fees even more. the item "cafe/store revenue cut" in negotiation only applies to the stores you have assigned to the airline, so just give them a crappy dingy store.
you can adjust boarding time in your flight schedule, so you can fit more small plane flights per time slot.
i know, too much info and too late, but man, just had to get some of it off my chest ;D
e: oh and upgrade your runways so flights dont get delayed due to weather
I started playing this game because of these vids, love it! I have some tips: You can stagger your flight schedule so they don't all come in and out at the same time. Just click and drag on each flight in the flight management tab. Makes everything run way smoother. Also! Metal detectors can go to the right of the bag scanners, so you can way condense the amount of space you need for more security lines.
