We have horse cops here in Central Pennsylvania. They come for any sort of "street festival" where they close the roads to traffic. Block Parties, Art festivals, multi-stage outdoor concerts.
I grew up on a farm, and at age 9, a friend of mine (same age) was thrown and trampled by her horse when it was scared by something. When I was around 6-7 years old I was at a rodeo, and a Clydesdale horse (the ones with the huge hooves) was also scared by something, broke free from what it was dragging, jumped the fence into the area where the food stands were, and almost got to where I was standing buying myself a snowcone. Horses are not to be f**ked with for sure, but I also grew up around the sweetest horse ever who loved when I hand-fed her the good greenery on my side of the fence...
