Yay! Thank you for playing Dust! None of my other friends played this game, so I really appreciate finally hearing somebody else's opinions on it. A review I read right before playing the game said to crank up the difficulty too, so y'all are on point with that! Btw, RIP banner saga fans.
I loved Dust. I played it on the hardest setting from the beginning, if I recall there was a decent amount of strategy in boss fights because of the higher difficulty, don't remember getting stuck on any parts though, I remember it being the right amount of difficult. Then again it's been years since I played it and could be remembering it wrong, but I know I loved it.
Poor Banner Saga, one day you will be played, one day.
Game Club seems to have really cooled down. Not only people being gone and generally busy with other projects, but the discussion doesn't seem nearly as lively or in-depth as when they were starting out.
I know it has been a weekly show matched with every Patch, but maybe spacing these out a little more can help with better conversation, be given more opportunity to play the games (as opposed to it being considered "homework"), and could improve the experience for those playing it.
I would love it if they made this an every other week show. It would allow them to play the games to completion as opposed to talking about them half finished. I was thinking about this with their Undertale talk and that show would have been so much better if they were able to talk about the ending.
They miss out on a lot of what makes these games great by only playing them halfway.
Agreed, though it still seems livelier when they actually enjoy the games they're playing too, and some of that may just be the large amount of AAA releases lately (as seen by Gus constantly complaining about GC cutting into his Fallout time)
This episode seemed less like "cooled down" and more like "simmering undertone" but there you go, I'm confident it'll pick up again after the holiday break :)

I played and perfected this game such a long time ago and thought that not many people knew about it. I love that it's finally getting some attention. I absolutely love Dust!!

You should play the new game "Kingdom" on Steam... there used to be a Flash game called that but they put a load of time and money into it and it is now a very cool Unity game on Steam :D
