Meg should be fine - a true no mercy run is VERY obviously bad and plain unlikely to be done without being aware how it's achieved. It's such a shame that no-one managed to finish the game/ explore a little more before recording this though...I'd have loved to have heard opinions on the endings - I totally understand why they didn't manage it though. I'm kind of hoping Undertale comes up between them again at some point so we can hear further opinions on it.
I really hope they do some kind of Return to Undertale follow-up episode later.
I was expecting Gus to be cynical about it, but that was a pleasant surprise. I never expected Meg to be the violent one though
It sounds like Meg's on the No Mercy route instead of Genocide (sometimes interchangeable, but I think it means she's not intentionally killing everything, just if they're in her way), so she will fortunately NOT have a bad time
And please go back and replay the game if you can. If you were crying then, True Pacifist will make you cry even more. You don't have to replay the entire game for True Pacifist (thank god, I did not want to fight Flowey again) if you were already on the Pacifist route, just press continue after the end
And finally, Temmie Village.
She's on the neutral path, just she's killing things.
I believe it is the third game in the Earthbound line. Either in story or creation. This game is much cuter and more enjoyable if you don't fight.
Undertale this week, Shantae for next week, Two excellent games in a row.
I love Undertale. Couldn't get myself to do a full genocide playthrough or even killing a single character. I started off with True Pacifist ending and can't get myself to even harm the characters. I adore them too much!
They should do binding of isaac rebirth for the patch game club
I think they should try play "Emily is away" see what they think about that game
it sounds like, and looks awful but everyone says it's good. I might have to try it
An addition for the cylinder, if it's not there already- Beyond Eyes, an adventure game where you play as a small blind girl. I recall that it got a lot of buzz around E3, but it released in August with basically no fanfare.
You guys did complete the game at least twice, right? Not to be a picky fanboy about it, but it's VERY important to play the game a second time on a pacifist route if you want to see the "true" ending, and trust me, you'll want to see it. Maybe do a follow-up video upon completion to share your thoughts on it?
EDIT: Just now hit the end of the video, and I'd very highly urge you guys to finish the game about twice. Meg won't get the genocide ending, because trust me (again), you'll KNOW when the game has put you on the genocide route. It intentionally tries to make you stop. Meg would've played a very different game. I'd really love to see your follow-up thoughts post-completion(s), because that's arguably the most important feature of the game. It's also just really fun to see reactions to when the game gets super-fucking-real.
