I think it might have missed the angle of most probable union busting interest for the MS in this acquisition. If they are successful to convice workers from AB to "calm down" unionizing, that they will be better bosses than the previous ones, that they will have a better environment, etc. Than the 70B they spent would already be paid off if they manage to stop a union that would force them to start to invest in real rights to all the workers under their umbrella. And MS has done this before multiple times.
When I first heard about this I thought this might fix the activision blizzard situation and I knew Brian would talk about it and I wasn’t sure what the cons would be but these are some interesting points!
