One, Great Job!!! Two, Would I be completely out of line by thinking that maybe Microsoft might be positioning the announcements of new games only through their own social areas by only showing a little if nothing at all at this event? I was trying to wrap my mind around why any Media Representative would advise MS to show little at this event, without some other plan.

Well, it SHOULD have been a cathartic moment for the Elden Ring fans that it won the overall prize…until that teenager just decided to get on stage and deflate the moment with that “speech” of his. Hopefully it doesn’t end up overshadowing Elden Ring’s victory the same way that the Will Smith slap overshadowed KODA’s victory at the 2022 Oscars.
