Weirdly I very rarely get "sexually suggestive" streamers suggested to me. But I also barely ever use Twitch because I have enough games to play in my backlog vs watching others play. There's enough FH and AH gameplay content in existence for me to have time to watch even more instead of just play myself.

@Konrow Unfortunately the society we find ourselves in, and heading further towards will one day side with people like this, I hope I am wrong but if we ever get to the point where "I'm a horny guy, twitch make me horny, can't control myself" gets a traction in a $25 Million lawsuit I think I might actually cry

The whole Trails in the Sky trilogy is also on Steam, as well as Cold Steel 1-3. The Crossbell games aren't translated officially yet, but there is a decent fan translation that is out for the first, and I recall that Falcom is doing a...remake / remaster of the Crossbell games that might come to the west this time. But yeah, good games, great story. LOTS of words.

The guy suing twitch and demanding certain channels get deleted is the same type who assaults a woman and blames the outfit she is wearing. What a pathetic little man. If he does have a sex addiction, which we have no reason to doubt, then there are measures he can take to block twitch for himself. Victim shaming isn't going to help matters one bit, because if the channels were removed, his addiction would lead him to finding his fix elsewhere. He needs help coupled with readily available tools to block these apps for himself. That aspect of the story, him blaming the ladies in question, I think made me more angry with this than his apparent issues.

@markieman64 It's a clear-cut case of frivolous litigation. I do believe that there are people who sincerely are unable to stop themselves because of an addictive personality. But if you're an alcoholic, maybe going into the liquor store every day doesn't help. That all being said, the biggest names on that Twitch Streamer List have definitely flaunted Twitch's TOS with no repercussions. And I'm not saying this on a moral standpoint, they've actually straight up gone against Twitch's rules and Twitch hasn't done anything about it, because money.

@DaedelicAsh Whether they have broken the TOS is a whole other issue entirely, and certainly it is an issue, but him using that as an excuse isn't on either. But aye, your analogy about the liquor store is quite correct. The alcoholic shouldn't sue the distillery for making the alcoholic water. There are steps a sex addict can take to try and reduce their exposure to content like this.
