Is Sakurai mad about Minecraft in Smash Bros?

Sakurai announced earlier this week that Minecraft’s Steve, among others, would be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! However, he seemed more than a bit mad over it. He threw some mad shade on Nintendo executives mentioning that they assumed it would be very easy to just add in some Minecraft characters and be done with it. Does this mean that Sakurai has less control over who gets added to Smash than we previously thought? And of course that’s not all! This is the Inside Gaming Roundup after all!
