"or if you're watching this on Sunday, later this week."
Do American weeks start on Sunday? If so, why? It called the weekEND, not weekendandstart
Also, everyone that saw Funhaus' gameplay of John Wick Hex when it released on PC (or actually played it) knows how much of a lie that description is
@Hammlet Ditto for AH's run through "Void Bastards" but then again when was a game's marketing blurb every honest? Game's marketeers are the worst liers of all marketeers that are not generally considered conmen in both senses. I'm just waiting for the time that they start getting sued for this crap - you can already start to see it happening with the controller stick-drift stuff... consumers are starting to demand more from gaming companies and software developers are gonna pay for all their bullshit... just a matter of time.
Controllers have been pretty ass since the dawn of controllers imo. I do think it's ridiculous when my grips falls off a $150 (the first elite) controller :/ Not to mention other malfunctions like sticky buttons, stick drift, RB and LB break insanely easily especially if you play Dark Souls, just to name a few.
...xbox controllers come with a 90 day warranty... after that you are one your own... do people not realize this? It has moving parts and will wear out over time.... it's not expected to last perfectly for years and years, especially under heavy use. Come on now. smh
I had 1 out of my 5 xbox controllers drift, but only after like 2-3 years of use. pretty reasonable if you ask me. Sucks i needed to buy a new one, but not unreasonable.
@EarthWormJM2 that's just you I (only have a controller not a xbox) and almost everyone I know that has a xbox has this problem sooner than just 2 to 3 years of use but still i understand what you mean on the regular xbox one controllers I have a pc and don't use my controller as much as I would if I did but like you said they do come with a 90 day warranty so you can replace it if it's before that and its their literally always on sale on amazon , but with that said two of my friends bought the pro series 1 and had that exact problem within the first year of having it which is bullshit considering its like 150 or some shit which I'd be pretty pissed about if i had a xbox and that was my main console. Still probably wouldnt sue tho.
I’ve never really had issues with stick drift except on the one ps3 controller I had for a while that I’d used to play Destiny heavily for over a year. The issue I always get however, particularly with ps4 controllers, is usually within 4 to 6 months, one of the sticks will stop fully registering input in one direction. Like I’ll turn normally to the left, but looking right will be slower, choppy, and sometimes not at all. I always just buy the $10 GameStop warranty and swap out every six months or so essentially just getting new controllers for $10
I got a Day One edition Xbox One, and later upgraded to a One S. Between the 2, I've had about 6 controllers - both replacements and just extras for couch co-op with my family.
I've experienced drift on one of them, bad enough that I retired it, and have started seeing spotty issues with a 2nd.
At no time did my reaction to that become "Dang you Microsoft! I'm going to sue you!"
Yup, I've got 2 XBONE controllers that drift forward on the left thumbstick. One of which is an Elite controller that I've already opened up twice before to replace broken bumpers. I love how xbox controllers feel in my hand the most, but these things break way too often. This is the kind of thing I'd expect from the $15 Madcatz controllers I bought for GC in 2007, not a $150 , first-party controller advertized for serious gaming.
It's very upsetting. I was thinking about getting the new Elite controller since I heard they addressed the bumper issue, but now I'm not so sure. I hope they address it in the series X version, but I won't hold me breath.
