I played on PS4 and I'd say that the frame rate issue definitely came up. The hardware is unfortunately starting to show it's age and with a game like this I'm actively worried. I just mean that when you're trying to get down the flow of combat, the frame rate stutters and You've a bunch of red assholes in your face exploding, clouding what little of the screen you could see. The game just kills me constantly for having a ps4. Alternately, the game is beautiful and full of intrigue. If you have a PC, pick it up. If you don't, just do what they said and wait for a patch.

@bent0saurus I'm playing on a PS4 Pro and while I have noticed it start to stutter here and there, it's far from unplayable. It's a minor annoyance at the most, and nothing that will stop me from exploring the world and reading every piece of information I can find (including the ones that directly tie it into Alan Wake, calling that entire game just another Altered World Event). It's a fascinating game that is the first in years to draw my absolute attention. I remember watching the announcement trailer during E3 last year and honestly I wasn't that interested then, but I somehow saw something quickly about it (it may have even just been FH idly talking about being interested in it in a video somewhere) and it immediately piqued my interest. And boy, am I glad I happened to hear that because I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

apparently they definitely did fix things. I'm playing on a launch ps4 and other than leaving the pause menu causing a framerate drop and occasional texture loading (like signs or pictures) I haven't really had any issues. I love it
