Borderlands 3 Review

Great review, I wholeheartedly agree with it all. I have 50 hours on the game and I'm loving it. Question I have is where you got the music that was playing in the background?

As a Borderlands fan, I think the story if good (not great, but good). I think that aspect of the review is a bit heavy handed. I agree with most of the rest of the review, the gunplay is great and the character setup and build potential is great. I think the "vertical" apsect criticism is also a bit unfair. This game is Borderlands brought to the latest tech, and it delivers that extremely well.

How dare you Lawrence, Ahsoka is one of the best characters from the "Clone" series.

Lawrence already said he doesn't like the Borderlands series so I'm not sure why I expected him to like it.

i would say they're setting up Ava to be one of the next siren's that you can choose from in either an expansion or borderlands 4 if that comes around.

Wow, did Jeff Gerstmann come work at IG? I am so sick of this hipster "Nothing is EVER funny in games" and writing is always terrible. Blah, blah blah.... It's Borderlands not The Last of Us. What were you expecting? You've got three previous games to set your expectations properly.

At first I thought Ava was going to be making fun of that trope... but holy fuck it fucking wasn’t! I fucking hated her character. But also damn the gameplay is so freaking good! (But also every bad guy was basically the same. Rich, arrogant, and annoying.)

Product. I ran it on an original Xbox (not X) and did have to sit through some long load times. Had a bit more success on PC. It is at its core a BL looter shooter. It had its over the top action and so-so character/story. It really leaned heavily on “tales”. Story wise I wasn’t a big fan of the story behind the weapons manufacturers and did not like Ava. That said it is a good game and a definite pick up for BL fans and FPS players. They’ve mixed in some more

RPG elements. Overall I am happy with the game. It’s not the most story driven character based game. But the game mechanics are solid and like destiny the gameplay is spot on.

really glad to have y'all review this. I've read and watched alot of gameplay, but to hear it from IG solidifies my expectations for the game. Solid review lads
