Didn't Frank kick Gus in the GTA Immersion? Wouldn't that make him Gus' best friends? especially since they know each other for so long? Or did Benjamin make a friendship roll and got a higher number than Frank?
I always thought Geoff was Gus' best friend. Not because they play Grif and Simmons, respectively, in RvB but because they were close friends before Burnie met them and started Rooster Teeth.
I love how the frank conversation in this RTAA came up in the Hereos & Halfwits panel. That's so convinent lol

This story is infinitely better because Heroes and Halfwits has taught me who Frank is.
