It's not just coffee. There's a bunch of food the FDA allows crushed insects to be in, up to a certain percentage

@Hammlet cereal is a big one too, and it's not even limited to bug parts. peanut butter is allowed to have a percentage of rodent hairs in it

Chris was right. If it's a K-cup style, the ants are in the pod with the coffee grounds.

Fking hate ants. Here in WA, ant problems are common. My house has sugar ants, and I've been slowly working at trying to track their location and wipe them out.

It depends on the type of ant. There are some ants that taste like lemon. Though they might go better with tea.

Chris is probably right. the coffee filter strained the ants bodies out. Blaine just went for water so no ant filter

its not just coffee, all processsed foods have a certain amount of allowed bug matter, bread is known to have bugs in it because of the scale of wheat processing.

most processed food has and is allowed to contain bugs, feces and other particulates from animals and bugs. kinda gross really but you don't notice typically

@treace101 Honestly, kinda makes sense in the how much production would be constantly thrown out due the equivalent of moister in a single person's breath in like 20 full dump truck loads.
