There's a reason why Lucifer is portrayed as this horned, bat winged, red skinned, cloven hooved, pointy tailed demon with a pitchfork when he isn't being portrayed by a sexy English actor with a lovely singing voice. He was a cherub. And the cherubim are often thought of as cupids these days. But biblical angels, including the cherubim, the seraphim and all the others, yeah, size of the Chrystler building, wings, burning wheels, eyes everywhere, some of them have animal heads, many have multiple heads. Some angels were described as being over 1,750 miles tall (okay it was 500 parasangs in height, but nobody uses parasangs anymore). Samael is described as being so tall it would take 500 years to cross a distance equal to his height and being covered in glaring eyes. That's over 13 million miles of glaring eyes. That's about one and half times the distance from the earth to the sun. And it's all eyes. Glaring. At. You.
They are beautiful, in a way, but so otherworldly and terrifying at the same time.
