I wish I could still attempt to sue United Airlines in Houston for what they did to me and the other people on my flight last year- a grand 32 hour delay due to United's management dismissing our pilots 5 times right before boarding, I had put my suitcase on board and they wouldn't let me take it off. They told us no flights were available to change to.
At 1:00am, after 18 hours in the airport, they gave us a "we're taking care of you" package they gave me a $15 food voucher, which only gets you a bag of chips in an airport, a 1-way taxi voucher to the hotel they were setting me up with, whom they did not tell that any of us flight passengers were coming. I got a room with literal roaches and blood on the pillow and bizarrely, the only clean place was the bathroom.
Our next scheduled flight was 6:00am, but was then delayed for a further 14 hours until United finally remembered to get us a co-pilot.
Moral of the story: never trust anything an airport or airline will set you up with.
