Ant-Man and the Wasp is here to give you your next Marvel fix after Infinity War. We caught an early screening and are ready to weigh on on whether we'd watch, wait, or skip if given the chance to do it over.
Ok. I like the newer stuff because it really made movies unique. A generic Marvel movie is alright but doesn't have enough of a home over me as opposed to the zany Ragnarok or really cool world of Black Panther.
@Rendr44 To that point, and the opening point made about how this movie kinda clashes with the tone of Infinity War, I get the impression that this was purposefully done as a pallet cleanser, to wash out the bitter after-taste Infinity War left (in a very good way, mind you) and just make a fun, safe movie, until we're ready for the next Avengers movie.
@AceofAces007 That's a valid point but after the ending of Infinity War they created this movie and while it's not a bad movie tonally it's a major shift. It's like putting a band-aid on an amputated leg and saying it's all better. People watched so many of the characters in Infinity War over the years but since Ant-Man wasn't able to be a part of it, the mood is suddenly changed. Now i can't say that for certain but I hope they can include some of those feelings to see the aftermath of a changed universe.
