Solo: A Star Wars Story... Should You Watch? Wait? Skip?

It has been outright said that Solo takes place 10 years before A New Hope because Chewbacca was 200 years old in A New Hope and in this movie, he's 190. There's your time frame: right smack between Ep. 3 and 4, aka the height of Imperial rule before there were any beginning attempts to rebel.

Being that Andy's opinion gets invalidated my his own words at the end, seems like exactly what we expected from the issues we heard during production. A fine netflix movie but not worth the ticket price. This is what I want from this series. A variety of opinions and discussion about why you reached those conclusions. Also I very much agree with Eric's red flag comment. That is always a big indicator for me as well.

Taking Johns word over Andy. The fact that its a "if you liked the prequels you'll like Solo" movie. No way. I was not going to see it anyway just because the guy they got for Han is just...so bad in thr previews. Yeah. I'll wait for the Lando movie.

I'll see every Star Wars movie opening night until the day I die, but I think we all expected it to be subpar. So... I'm not disappointed.

I am with Jon %100, like with Dark Tower. Leave us wondering more than we were when we began, that's a sack!

If you are comparing it to dark tower than it must be absolutely terrible. I felt ripped off watching the dark tower. I read all Dark tower books, even waited years for thge next one in the series to come out. the movie version was a rip off to all dark tower fans and Stephen King should be ashamed of how his complex novel series was basically put into a low budget crap fest. GIVE ME DRAGONLANCE movies!!, make hollywood great again.

Hey Broadcast, I've noticed this in a few different videos on this set (only in the "Watch? Skip? Wait?, not on the glitch please or the news roundups) that the tighter angle on Ashley and Andy looks really soft in comparison to the rest of the video... if its just me call me crazy and move on, but i've noticed it in multiple videos and its always this angle. Thanks y'all! Keep up the Awesome work!

I enjoyed the A. C. Crispin trilogy of Han

Only critique i really have about Solo is I kinda wish Han and Chewys first meeting was done better. Wasnt really worthwhile of a wookie owing someone a life debt.

Apparently this is an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed Solo. It was a fun story and Alden and Glover nailed their rolls
