oooooo cool new setup!

Not a fan of the new set up at all go back to the old set this is terrible I absolutely hate it cannot watch the podcast like this

Eric's laugh when Barbara makes the comment about Gavin sticking his finger through the wet box just kills me.

I'm not a fan of this test setup, it feels too "produced" versus the natural feeling of them "hanging out." Honestly its the weird forced headphones despite them being next to each other and the lack of wide shots. I can understand if they want it appear more professional but that's not the "character" of this podcast imo. If this setup sticks as is then I will probably just move to audio only. Keep the cuts to Eric though. EDIT: I admit that the knee jerk reaction was just to the visuals of the temporary setup up which I personally don't like ascetically. Obviously I come for the personalities and that isn't gong to change but the temporary set up takes away the "friends on a couch" feeling that prefer and feels more generic or I guess maybe manufactured for lack of better words I guess. The headphones thing is just a weird me personally problem, I'm not bothered by it but its just weird to see people sitting next to each but listening through headphones, I get the benefits to it but like I said, just a weird personal nitpick thing. Obviously we all went through the Covid period and everyone was stuck at home but that still felt natural enough to me in context of the situations. Honestly what I think would go a very long way for me would probably be keeping the inclusion of wide shots as another nitpick for me is them being in each others shots but I can understand if wide shots just weren't possible in the temporary setup. I get if I'm a minority opinion and if majority likes it and there are benefits whether technical or productive then go for it but I just figured I'd toss my cents out there but please keep the Eric cuts, I always enjoy more Eric popping in/up.

Are these comments complaining about the format serious? What did y'all do when the pandemic happened, just stop watching entirely? Jesus it's the same people, and honestly, them being right across from each other seems like it promotes more conversation. There's less distractions as they're not dealing with the camera monitor, and there's much more direct eye contact between everyone. Honestly, I think the new setup helps the conversation and everything flow much better. Y'all are being extremely pedantic. Edit: They also explained literally in the beginning of the podcast that they got moved out of their normal space due to a production. How do y'all know this setup is even going to be permanent? Ridiculous lmfao. "I'm gonna quit watching cuz one minor thing changed wahhhhhhh" How old are y'all? Jesus.

wait do they really believe amber is telling the truth? because it's painfully obvious that she is a psychotic abuser and there is so much evidence to back that up smh I hope they aren't being serious because my view of them will be changed that's sad 😢
