Very cool!
Indeed!
For someone afraid of heights, Burnie is not very afraid of heights.
It's always wonderful to see and interact with other parts of the world. Glad to see they had fun!
Geez burnie i am afraid of heights and i don't think i could do that, beautiful though. Wish I had a job where I could travel like that, would be awesome.
burnie uses after effects for text but not for shot stabilization?
For some reason, being an Austrian, this Vlog put the biggest grin on my face even though I know it's kinda dumb. Hope you guys had a blast in Austria!
Goosebumps at the beginning of the opening ceremony, anyone? Specially Gav's view of walking with GB's team.
I think I cried a little.
I want to visit the opening level of rise of iron too!
My brother was an athlete in the Special Olympics on the local side of it all. I just want to say thank you guys for doing everything you've done for the families and athletes to help give them this life changing opportunity. Ive been a fan for a while and it means the world to me seeing you take the time and energy to support a cause that is very close to my heart.
so this is what people raised money for.
Where are you going with this post?
The company should have straight up donated the money since they represented RT at the event. Crowdfunding from your community rather than just giving to charity is shady as hell. Sponsoring a team and encouraging the community to give directly to the organization would have been a much better way to do it.
The money is going towards the competitors for the summer games, not towards sending burnie and gavin to this.
But sure you found them out, this was their big plan all along, 15 years of rooster teeth so burnie could get a free trip to Austria for 2 days!
Doesn't matter. I'm sure the money went to a good cause but the perception is terrible. They didn't announce it as "help us send people to the special olympics." It sounded like "we need your help because we are trying to go to the special olympics to represent Rooster Teeth."
Perception is everything. Burnie expected to SMASH a $25 Thousand dollar goal which crawled until he said he would match it. If they announced it correctly, they probably would have.
That looks like such an amazing experience! So glad Burnie was able to vlog some of it!!
I was wondering for Burnie not liking heights much like myself was it easier to deal with heights on the amazing race when you have a price on your mind and couldn't really think about it unlike when you're here you're just getting others to "encouraging" you to go. That bridge would be nerve-wracking!!
