Awesome!
You know, I took everything from this Blog except how to actually BE a social chameleon.
Be a candle vanpire
Meh, I'm just giddy that @burnie actually replied to me! ;D
Sorry Burnie, but the British actually defeated the Spanish armada.
Oh my gosh, you're right!!! In your face Burnie!!! Also anti shout out to my high school History teacher...
I came down in to the comments to check if someone else commented on it.
I thought a yacht was always just bigger. Seemed more like a normal sail boat
Same.
A yacht has a deck and a cabin. This boat does have a deck and a deckhouse. Although you can't see inside it, the boat looks long enough to have a proper cabin, which qualifies it as a yacht..
Nice vlog as always Burnie!
Every time I see Burnie's car it gets cooler.
I guess that Red vs Blue didn't give Burnie enough attention
The vampire analogy is actually a perfect description for extroverts. I'm totally stealing it. Thanks Drew!
Burnie's super cool and all, cause you know he's got an awesome Tesla, super cool vlogs, and helped start a pretty nifty company, but Ellie's honestly my fav part of the vlogs. Especially with the sudo sailing knowledge and winch dropping.
"Be yourself" and "Embrace people" are contradictory instructions for me. Being myself involves running away from people to avoid the awkward conversations. I think I'll follow Gus' example instead.
INTROVERTS UNITE!
BUUUT not for very long.
And it's okay if you just Skype it in.
(Or leave an e-mail that you're not going to show up.)
What a fun video! I do call shenanigans though, I didn't see one spinnaker! Maybe I just missed it though...
The Spanish Armada was embarrassing for the Spanish, not the British, it was the largest navel fleet ever assembled to engage in naval warfare and was decimated when it tried to launch an attack on Britain. It was one of the best examples of the "Britannia rules the waves." phrase in action.
If anyone is interested in the history of this event I highly suggest 'Battlefield Britain - Spanish Armada'.
The Spanish Armada isn't the largest naval fleet ever assembled, technically it was the forces at D Day but the fleet most regarded as the largest was Zheng He's fleet from the Ming Dynasty in China. It was used to explore south east Asias and Eastern Africa until The entire fleet was dismantled.
The Armada was not the largest naval fleet ever assembled; it was 130 ships.
