Ashley should come along for these survival training exercise, she also needs to protect Burnie during the apocalypse. Also they never know if they might be called back to the amazing race and be ready to kick everybody's ass.

I guess out of the numerous injuries Ellie could have had from being in a helicopter, falling out of a stationary helicopter and banging her head isn't the worst she could have had. Good on you Ellie!

Ellie is such a bad-ass! Imagine if a recruiter were to ever ask her: "So what are some of the skills that make you valuable?" Ellie; "Well I can create swords, kick ass and know how to fire a machine gun from a helicopter, do I need to continue?"

Very cool. I do have mixed emotions though since it deviated from the "apocalypse and bodyguard" theme and sort of goes from 0-100 with the firearms training. And since I know someone will say it for me, yes insanely jealous is one of the emotions. lol
