Looks like they forgot to make the sword video a hyperlink
It's in the Burnie Vlog section right below the video, dude
@sephiroth125 I think he means in the description where it says "click here" to see ellie make a sword
This is so awesome!
I wish they would have shown her actually wearing it.
Drew's shirt on the 4th day is an amazing shirt
Remember when these vlogs were actually interesting looks into life at Rooster Teeth and updates on what Burnie was working on, instead of just making Ellie do some random activity every week? Only two of the last nine videos have had any real substance, and while I like Ellie (for example, she was fun on "On the Spot" a couple of weeks ago), I don't watch Burnie's vlogs to see his assistant take krav maga or craft a sword.
Then don't watch them. Problem solved.
It really feels like a sepereate show.
I agree.
@jeremythelee No, jackass, the problem is that thought it was interesting that we were given a look inside the company's creative process, and now all we get is silly tripe.
This video is pretty riveting
so it would seem that a sheath is for any item as long as it "closely envelops" the object. Scabbards are specifically for swords, daggers and blades
A scabbard is a sheath with a rigid core(typically wood)... or a sheath is coreless scabbard. Leather tends to be slightly acidic and thus corrosive to steel blades, so with steel blades came the need for less harsh sheath. you still have to be careful when choosing wood though, as some are also acidic and harmful to the blade. Poplar, maple and birch are all great options.
P.S...
Let me know if that was too much info... I watched RT Podcast for years(and the vlog) and this is the first time I've ever commented on a video. I figured I should try to share some knowledge from my field. If you google "Diamante swords" you'll find my my website/portfolio
Nope you were perfectly informative
If I were Ellie, I would worry about whatever Burnie is cooking up as an 'exam'/performance review after all this.
I'm imagining a The Last of Gus-scenario IRL.
There are so many people at Rooster Teeth with such a diverse range of skills that in an apocalypse situation, if the company were able to stick together despite being such a large group, they'd not only survive but thrive xD
i could hear drew's emasculation in his voice when he noticed her hand lol
This was so satisfying to watch
Marshmello!
