You know what this anime-cast is? Bones. SO bones.
Gray gon full internet as the thumbnail this week and I love it!
(that's me tho)
Moe characters all look alike.
So the Fan Service Shot of the Week was really funny, but I was actually pretty excited for Blaine to see some new stuff and hear his thoughts on the clips. It would have been cool to get his first impressions on shows he hasn't seen, especially since he's so new to the world of anime.
Kerry is looking good these days. Looks like he's losing weight. Good on Kerry.
I would like to suggest that Miles, Cole and Kerry take part in a Japanese penalty game on next week's episode as penance for that "FanService" Shot of the Week.
Also isn't it Tanya 8, 9 and 10?
Exactly,.. really fell short this week.
Va-11 Hall-a is the best visual novel. And every person on the podcast should play it.
So isn't Blaine now the official filler character of Fan service
I miss Yssa...
I miss her also, and she's only been gone an episode,.. kinda feels empty without her.
Episode 9 of Dragon Maid has by far been my favorite, because of the things they discussed about and a few other reasons. Like they said in the beginning Kobayashi is saying she can't go because of work and she wonders if she even wants to go, but then she feels guilty after seeing Kanna so disappointed, so she decides to work extra late to finish her project early to go to the sports festival. That whole first part of the episode to me showed the old saying, "If you can't find the time to be with someone you care about, then you make time." It shows how far that they have come and how much of a family they think they are, because when they first started living together, it felt more like a bunch of roommates who are friends living together and getting into wacky situations, but now we see Kobayashi go above and beyond to make sure she is there for her little dragon girl.
Also, we find out Shouta goes to the same school as Kanna and that he is "older" (he's just in a higher class) than Kanna. We also learn that Lucoa's cover is that she's Shouta's big sister and I also found that part of the story to be interesting too. When first saw Lucoa and Shouta together, he wanted to get rid of her because a) he thought she was a succubus demon and b) there was nothing that she could give him that he wanted. But in this episode we see that he won his competitions because of Lucoa's giant boobs, whether they were "World Class" or distracting the other boys in the events, Shouta won because of Lucoa who he once thought as useless.
Anyway, great anime, great Fanservice episode, honestly thought Miles should of won, because his clip was actually animated and worked (also, I am too, a big fan of Samurai Jack), but anyways, can't wait until next episode.
Kobayashi is seriously just so good.
I hope more people watch this. At first I thought RWBY was the only thing that would keep me paying for First. But after it ended and Fan Service kept rolling out, I just went ahead and bought 6 months.
(Also, Jessica Nigri loves Kobayashi, and has a surprise for next week? POSSIBLE COSPLAY HYPE?!)
It was all about RWBY for my subscription also,.. but 'Fan Service' has been awsome,.. so yeah,.. ditto!
Honestly, they could have extended the Ghost in the Shell bit by one or two hours and I won't have minded in the least. In fact, any series they are passionate about, I'd love to see them geek out and talk about them without restraint. If FanService ever considers making a Post-Show, how about doing series-specic specials where you dedicate half an hour just talking about and dissecting animes that you enjoyed?
Agreed,.. and Yes Please Yes. RTFS,.. Are you reading?
