This podcast is easily my favourite thing about being a sponsor. And not just because it's fun trying to guess what bizarre sequence of events led to the title while waiting for it to come out xD
I do hope they chat a bit about Sakura Quest. Its by the same studio that did Shirobako, and its the same kind of vein, its just about small town tourism instead of animation. The MC is even a very similar design, its like Miyamori had pink hair and was made queen of a small town. I recommend it for anyone who is liking the slice-of-life business aspect of Shirobako.

I disagree that the last episode of AoT was bad. Plot wise, we group all the characters back together and set up the plan for the next episode and probably more. And more importantly, Kerry talked about how it's just covering things we already know about these characters. That's true, but they were covered *three years ago* when the first season came out. This is the first episode of the season that really focused on Erin, Armin and Mikasa and not the side characters. I think it's important to re-contextualize what it going on with the character, especially with what is going on with the production and not assuming everyone watching has just rewatched all the first season.
I mean, did *you* remember that bald mustache guy knew the main three before the series? Hell I kept thinking he was the guy that got brutally torn apart at the beginning of the season and I kept getting really confused
