Quick comment: the writer for 91 Days didn't write Haikyuu. He worked on scripts for the anime, adapting the content that was already written by Haruichi Furudate, who writes and draws the Haikyuu manga. It's a pretty big difference.
Also, the Sky High comment reminded me that someone actually asked Horikoshi (the author of My Hero Academia) about it in an interview. According to him, he heard about it after he started MHA and was terrified that Disney would try to sue him.
My tag team, The Ginyu Force! Style, poses, the voices make the best. Also my choice for a boy band.
This is one of the only times I've disagreed with Fan Service, in that I do not like the new season of Attack on Titan. I really liked episode one, but immediately fell off with episode 2 and 3. There doesn't seem to be a lot of actual action and advancing the plot (main) when there are only 12 episodes and we have been waiting for ~2 years for a new season.
Best dub for me is Hellsing.
could never get into cop girl's voice. It always broke me out of the story.
If you like a good intro, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. There'a a point in the series where the intro shifts and syncs up with the show itself (at the climax of the season) and instantaneously hypes the fck outa you. You guys should do anime club on it someday. You guys would definitely appreciate it, and all of the story and lore up to the start of the season is easy to recap.
I agree with Tim, Code Geass was a fantastic show in general. I'm so happy people haven't forgotten about it.
Fan service is the best thing RT produces now. Two minutes in and I'm already crying from laughter. I can feel salty water on my face. And I'm not even sure why.
"Get to the dog" *shakes fist* Goddamn you, Austin.
Huh. Am I misunderstanding the character of Saitama? There are some things that Cole and Nick said that I don't agree with. Maybe I should re-read the manga, but I thought Saitama was a normal dude, who wanted to become stronger and once he got there, got bored cuz all his fights end with one punch and there's no challenge. I wouldn't say he's a loser and definitely not an asshole, but I could be wrong or my opinion is different cuz I read the manga and parts that passes the anime. Anyone else watch or read the manga, I would like to know your opinion.
Have read the Manga to the current translation, and he's not really an asshole no, just indifferent, bored. He's dead inside, nothing challenges him and his "dream" of being able to destroy any villain with One Punch, which is what he said to the Crab Man that was the first villain, has been accomplished. Now he wants more, to feel alive again. I think the "loser" part is more so because he does nothing really, no one knows him and lives alone in a basically destroyed city. I like Saitama myself, but still love Genos and Tatsumaki and all the other supporting characters just as much if not more so.
Okay, Thanks.
Oh, Future Diary... It's the first manga I read completely in Japanese. I've never seen the anime, though. I enjoyed it by the end, but I don't really know if I can say it's good. I bought all 12 volumes for about 800 yen when I first arrived in Kyoto and binge read it over about a week. A lot of it feels like it could've been cut without affecting the story much at all. It gives me the impression that the author knew how he wanted it to end, but didn't really know how to get there and just made it up as he went.
