I’m a server and can 100% agree to this. It’s come to the point at my work where we realize who’s about to be sat and over 70% of the time you can tell the experience will be exhausting just by the way they carry themselves upon arrival. It’s makes work unbearable nowadays.

on the subject of "if you only had a few days left to live" I actually had a dream the other night that I only had one day left to live. In the dream I was saying goodbye to my friends (on the phone for some reason) and I Still had to come into work. I was actually crying to my manager in my dream, "this is literally the last day of my life, and I don't want to spend it Working!" My manager in my dream then just says, "Ok, we'll get someone to cover your shift."
