#1 thing I looked forward to about being an adult was, stereotypically, never going to school ever again, and I still get ecstatic whenever I remember that I will never ever have to again.
#2 was no family stuff. Like Gavin was saying, dinners would last for hours and hours and hours with people speaking languages I didn't understand. Sitting down and not being allowed to leave the table for 6-7 hours. Espresso, cheese, and dessert at 10:30-11:30. it was madness
