@woard I think when people refer to "realism," they actually mean "faithful." i.e., the game conveys the same themes, aesthetics, and sense of immersion. No one would complain if a game about China had no white characters. How is the lack of diversity in skin tone non-inclusive? How does this negatively impact your experience? This is always taken axiomatically and never explained. Even further, how does this fit into the narrative and theme that the developers are trying to convey? In my opinion, all this talk about adding female or diverse skin tones just reeks of power dynamics. People trying to control other people. Contrary to this, I think that the text filtering should be implemented as an optional client side text filter.

@lobos1943 Think the Devs are on a stupid moral high ground. but going far back in history (longer than just American history) there's slaves of every colour, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation,gender etc... white people included.
