@The_Procurer Seriously. I mean if I had knockers like Tifa I'd want those puppies held down otherwise I'd be knocked the fuck out by a face full of titties everytime I did a flip.
Flanders is an area of Northern Belgium and Southern Netherlands - it used to be a Kingdom but England and France didn't leave it much of a chance... same with Walloonia but they lucked out and got to share a country (by winning a revolution when the winners of the Battle of Waterloo (and related battles) ignored the people who lived there but had suffered a good chunk of the fighting) even if it didn't include all of both their historical geographical bounds (The Netherlands includes some of Flanders and France some of Wallonia). "In Flanders' fields" is worth a read if you want to get a feel of what the region has gone through over the centuries... caught in the middle of some of the worst battles and wars to grace Europe... but they did invent chips (fries) so it's not all bad!
Glad to see Inside Gaming is still a Wasteland of clickbait and poor research. It has been long enough to find out that the translation that caused all this wasn't proper. Square Enix wanted her chest to be restricted so her breasts weren't flopping around in combat. They didn't tell anyone to reduce the size. Second this whole issue is sleazy. Women are more than their looks and their chest size. Stop reducing women to to objects that are to be ogled and nothing more. Nice thumbnail by the way sleazebags.
@Ryu416 so you just made assumptions based on the title, right? Your first point, about the mistranslation and restrictions on Tifa’s design rather than making her smaller because of the action scenes, was address within the first 5 minutes of the video. And your second point, about this being sleazy? You do realize that, yes, during the time FF7 was originally made, there were a lot of sleazy people in the industry, and the people making a big deal about Tifa’s redesign and claiming “not true to the original design” are in fact being a bit sleazy considering the original design was made of a few polygons. BUT, this video is being nothing but satirical and sarcastic towards the people making those points. They are not actually saying “make Tifa’s boobs bigger” How about next time you actually watch the video before making snap judgements. Or if you don’t want to do that, just keep your opinions to yourself
@Ryu416 Personally, I didn’t find this video or thumbnail to be unreasonably offensive. I also hadn’t heard of this news at all and appreciated that they set the context of the mistranslation aspect of the story. Just thought I would share my point of view.
that wont be enough to appease the social justice morons, ive seen people bitch about characters in games being "too skinny", so until these characters put on 100 pounds or so people will never shut up, and people like that dont care if they are athletic, which means they would actually be in shape
I think the real question is do the people who complain about a charicter being unnatural really buy the game in the first place. Then if they bought the game before and it did not bother them is there really a reason to change it.
https://youtu.be/HfWzVdPwBpY?t=2331 It literally took me 2 minutes to google "final fantasy 7 cutscene" and skim until I found this part. The argument that Tifa's blocky world map character was the only rendition of the character in-game doesn't hold water.
@Grave.Void I also like how they are complaining how she's a B cup now. No they are much larger still, *loudly whispers* I don't think any of the people complaining have seen a really boob
I loved Tifa's design in general but when I saw this crap about tit size I was like jesus Christ instead of people being stoked about their favorite characters/game being redone they wanna complain about her boobs not looking like triangles cmon guys. I mean im all for originality but idk if triangles over smooth roundness would be the way to go.
But really she's my favorite character and I think she looks amazing, all of the characters do stoked for the remake!
