eh, i will still buy physical when possible, because digital stores that sell digital only items are temporary, eventually you will lose the ability to access those games you bought digitally when those stores shut down
so then does this mean Ebgames is going to go too? (it's the Canadian version as far as I remember they bought the GameStop's that were in Canada) like it's cool having digital copies of games but I prefer the physical copies, there's just something special about having a physical copy of a video game that you don't get with a digital copy
@Paigeybearz but if GameStop ends up like Toys r us then there shouldn't be too much of a worry. remember Canada bought toys r us and it's still doing well so Ebgames will maybe stay? at least I'm hoping. I just want my physical copies lol
As long as there is a demand for physical product, there will be a need for a midway distributor. While gamestop may not be making as much money as 10 years ago, they are still profitable. Like it or not gamestop’s not going anywhere, there may be a few less to shop from with the current trend, but gamestop will be around as long as there is a console that supports physical product
