This was amazing. I could listen to an hour long podcast of Lawrence just talking about all the different thoughts and ideas he has.

I could just listen to Lawrence talk for hours. Im sad they stopped having callers on podcasts as I would love to bounce my views on him. His approach is amazing :-)

honestly wonder how stuff like this shows psychie. like for example people like me that cares more about the post-post apocalypse than the post apocalypse. or in video games terms I care more about the development of New California than who dropped the bombs in Fallout. What does that show about how people think?

I like the idea of slower news days or every now and then, a good fact gaming has introduced into a social "experiment". Like when they did a experiment in world of warcraft with the zombie outbreak.

I actually really like wordy and philosophical videos that are willing to clearly inform and share their collective perspectives and views, not stating some ultimate correctness//rightness//truth and more of a "well this is what we have observed and there are many interpretations. Choose yours and run with it very carefully, and remember yours is only just one view of many."

All right, I'm going to go play Fallout New Vegas now.

Fascinating ideas and a good encapsulation of a very deep topic (that exists for literature in the academic world) brought to a new medium... I do find it intreguing that zombies are so popular though; my take is that it is a deep-seated fear of being swept along with the crowd and with there being so many humans just standing out from the crowd is a danger as the mass of humanity presses on thoughtless whereever it ends up going... that or a fear of the next epidemic that will likely kill hundreds of millions (if not billions) if the Spanish-flu outbreak around WWI is any guide...

I wish Lawrence had a podcast (I'm always disappointed whenever he's not on the dude soup podcast)! he has a great voice/way of talking that I could listen to for hours. And he puts so much thought into every topic, I'm always interested to hear his opinions and ideas.
