Norte Dame just happens to burn down after a company with an eye logo gathers near perfect data on how to replicate it... Illuminati... wake up sheepople... all that sh*t
while it is a shame about Notre Dame, please don't donate to the reconstruction of it. the Catholic faith makes 30 billion dollars a year, please donate to a better cause; many causes do good things but lack the funds. Notre Dame will be fine.
@Zachrionalpha it’s not even about religion at this point. It’s the fact that it’s a very very big global landmark. People aren’t donating because of religion. They’re donating because it’s a landmark that means something to us.
@Zachrionalpha I see where you might be coming from but due to french law Notre Dame is owned by the state (France) not a private partner(The Catholic Church) therefore it is the french government that is funding the rebuilding so trying to help preservation and restoration should be incouraged for cultural and historical significance not deterred for possible religious connections
@Zachrionalpha Being a atheist myself I get your point of not supporting a endeavor that has ties to the catholic church given the amount of destructive harm that humanity has suffered with due it, and while normally I would support this thought process the fact is Notre Dame itself is less of a church at this point and more of a global icon. Also do consider the historical context of the building which is why it is a UNESCO world heritage site not to mention it being a architectural marvel for its day. That being said if we let it sit in its current state of disrepair or even relish in its destruction, we would need to ask ourselves are we any better than isis or the Chinese during the cultural revolution when they actively destroyed historical locations and artifacts simply due to them not lining up with their ideals? These things need to be preserved so future generations can learn from them so they dont make the same mistakes that we or our ancestors made. Apologies for the rant but I left it needed to be said.
I was skeptical about this kid. He’s pretty fucking good, however, at delivering the news I clicked on the video for. A couple edits I didn’t care for, but overall, this dude nailed it.
