I know 343 Industries changed their business practices years ago to avoid crunch, as they’ve gone on the record basically saying Halo Infinite’s extremely long production is precisely to avoid crunch, which was an issue with Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians. Here’s hoping other studios learn from this approach, since Halo Infinite is currently shaping up to be the best Halo to-date. But at the end of the day, I just hope developers in any studio won’t have to suffer through crunch anymore. No game is worth torturing developers over.
